Normand Lemay and Griselda Sastrawinata-Lemay is a husband and wife team whose currently working as feature animation artists at the Walt Disney Animation Studio. In their free time, they enjoy creating art inspired by the things they love; art, food and cats.
Griz was born in Indonesia and fell in love with animation as a little girl watching Walt Disney's Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.
She graduated as a valedictorian from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and then joined Dreamworks Animation Art team as an artist. In 2015, Griselda's dream on being a Disney artist came true. She joined the Walt Disney Animation Studio's Art Department and she is currently working on a very exciting feature animation project.
A couple of the upcoming projects she has contributed are Frozen Holiday Special and Wreck It Ralph 2. Her contributions can be seen in movies and specials such as: Moana, Inner Workings, Home, Penguins of Madagascar, How to Train Your Dragons 2, Me and My Shadow, the Croods, Kung Fu Panda: Legend of the Masters, Rise of the Guardians, Neighbors from Hell, Puss in Boots, the Three Diablos, Donkey Christmas Shrektacular, and Shrek Forever After. She was also part of the development team in concept movies such as Doodle, Zodiac, Time Crime, Trolls, Imaginary Enemy, American Girl, and Best Witch Ever (all working titles).
Norm is a French-Canadian artist who moved to Los Angeles in 2009 to purse his dream of being part of the Walt Disney Feature Animation family.
He graduated from Sheridan College's Animation program and worked for a few years amongst the talented folks at Toronto's House Of Cool. He contributed to many projects, ranging from animated pilots, TV Shows, Feature Films and commercials.
He then moved to New York to work as a Story Artist on Blue Sky Studio's animated feature Rio.
In 2009, Norm joined the Walt Disney Animation Studio as a Story Artist. In recent years, he contributed to the recent Disney Classics Frozen, Big Hero 6, Zootopia, Moana, Wreck It Ralph 2 (coming soon). Normand was nominated for the Annie on his Tamatoa sequence in Moana. At the moment, he is currently hard at work on Walt Disney's Gigantic.
